"Howdy Nathan,
"Nathan:
"Good Morning Nathan
"Outstanding bow! I received it today and am overly impressed. I did my research before selecting a bowyer and your reputation and quality of work precedes you. I went with the Hunter model because I thought your other models looked too nice to belong out hunting. Pictures really do no justice once you see and handle your bows. Your craftsmanship and close eye to detail make this bow look like it belongs in a showcase, not out hunting. I rough set my brace height and let a few arrows fly. Extremely smooth! To think it will only get better when exacting the sweet spot, very high quality bow. You were extremely informative from your help in customizing this bow from wood selection to what grain broadhead. Thanks for your prompt efforts in the build so I can hunt this January deer season.
"Just wanted to let you know the bow gets better and better. I can shoot it as accurately as my compound bow with sights at reasonable distances. It is unbelieveably smooth. The nock recommendation was right on. I couldn't be happier with the way it shoots and of course the way it looks.
The second bow that arrived today is a bloodwood riser Hunter model. Once again the looks are fantastic. I shot the first arrow at 15 yards and was a bulls-eye. I backed up from there and seemed again as if I could not miss with my new Hunter. The bow almost tells me how to adjust to the distance. I love the new bow! I will be adding one of your Royal models soon I am sure. Way to go with the woodwork and finish on both bows!"   Thanks Cleveland
"Update on my new bow: I've just finished putting thirty arrows through her and I could not be more pleased! The weight is just right and there is no handshock. I am just amazed by the fact that she shoots absolutly dead on to my line of sight at twenty to twenty five yds. Perfect! I have a couple of recurves I need to sell and as soon as that happens I think you are going to be building me another bow.Nice work Nathan!"
I've been shooting the bow a lot now and I have to say I just love that thing! I had been hunting with my 62" ACS and wasn't going to take the Expi into the woods this year.....but I've been shooting it so well and I missed one last week with the ACS (no clue why!) so I figured maybe the new bow would change my luck a little. It is such a joy to carry in the woods. At 58" it's a perfect length and it is so light and quick to point. I'm not one who needs much mass weight in a bow to shoot it well. I've also figured out the perfect arrow set-up for that thing....and its a 35/55 at 29.5" .with not 200 but 250 up front! I'm shooting a 165 grn Simmons Interceptor epoxied to a 75 grn steel adapter. It is PERFECT!"
I have only one thing to say about the bow I got from you "AWESOME".I am in no way a seasoned traditional shooter, for this is my first longbow ever. I got it tuned in a few afternoon shootings. Tt's taken a little more practice than I had remembered since I shot a recurve as a teenager and also getting used to the 65 lb draw weight took a little bit. I can say now about your bows exactly what you said and I read about them, they shoot where you look. Even an old novice like me is shooting very respectable groups out to 30 yds. I'm gonna enter my first tournament this upcoming week and feel confident I'll do good.My archery store was out of 5575's so I got 7595's. They shoot great and fast ,29.5 length was in the 190's.That yew wood is smoking.THanks for all of your advice and please call or e-mail me anytime if there is anything else I need to know .
Thanks,
Greg"
I can not even begin to tell you how amazingly awesome the bow is!! I have shot a great deal of recurves, and longbows in my life. I set myself up for some decent hand shock as expected from a longbow, but to my great surprise, NONE!! Not to mention the accuracy and speed that I achieve with it. I can say that the longbow you crafted for me actually shoots faster than my 52" Kodiak Magnum recurve, I chronographed them both side by side, same arrows and all!! The Royal is now my go to bow, it will definitely be the bow I use to hunt with as well as just plink also, it is just a joy to shoot!! I have easily put 200 arrows through her already, and she just keeps getting better!! I would like to thank you so much, I do not know what you do to build your bows the way you do, but it WORKS!! Keep it up, this is easily the best bow I have ever owned!!
Thank You,
Mathew "
"Hello Nathan,
It chronographed at 202-204 consistently, my recurve on the other hand was 194-196, but it lacked the consistency, along with the accuracy. I was very surprised, as I do have a rather short draw length and have been used to not hitting the 200 fps barrier, but no longer!! You are more than welcome to use my message in your testimonials, to make another point on the accuracy, I would be lucky with my re curve if I could keep fairly tight groups at 15-20 yards, but with the Royal I am afraid I am going to robin hood an arrow, I have already killed three uni-knocks so far!!
Thank You,
Mathew"
Picked my new bow up at the post office today. It’s everything I thought it would be and more. It shoots like a dream, no stacking and no hand shock. I have shot recurves since I was 12 years old and have been unsure about trying the longbow. Your bow has made it an easy transition for me and I am truly grateful for your quick turnaround and the quality of your workmanship. Thank you again, and please feel free to use me as a reference any time.

I just want to say that the Hunter model you made me is really nice. I finally got my arrows in the other day and got time to shoot it on friday. I love the speed, smoothness, and quietness of the bow. There was no handshock whatsoever. I have had plenty of people tell me that the longbow was going to really produce a lot of handshock and that I should go with a recurve, and I am glad I did not listen to them. I have only shot maybe 50 arrows out of it so far and I already love it more than my compounds. I am sure the compound is going to be retired from here on out. It is shooting amazing right out of the box. I work at a gun shop and archery shop, and there is a guy back in archery that has taught a lot of people how to shoot longbows. So I am going to have him help me finish up fine tuning the bow as far as nock point and also the arrows. I keep telling people the bow definately shoots better than I can. I am very impressed with the bow and all of the workmanship. I can not wait to get profficient enough to take it out hunting. I really like how light of a bow it is. But anyways, I have no complaints and could not be anymore impressed and satisfied with the bow. You did a really fine job and I am glad I decided to have you make a bow for me. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
Thanks
Nathan "
Thanks again,
Bill
Thanks again for the fabulous bow!!!"

"Good Morning Nathan,
I’ve been hunting with a bow since I was a kid, but have never took a traditional bow to the woods. For the past couple of years I’ve been shooting my dad’s old wing recurve , and a PSE sequoia longbow a good bit in the yard. This year I decided to hunt with a longbow. I think I looked at every bow site on the internet while trying to pick a bow. I saw many bows I liked, but for some reason kept looking. After looking at the bows on your site, I made my mind up very quickly that I was getting one of your bows. Well, yesterday the bow arrived. I got it home and carefully cut it out of the packaging. I was very impressed with the bow's craftsmanship. The bow is beautiful strung and unstrung. The frost finish will be excellent in the deer woods. I got to shoot a few arrows through her and the performance is just as impressive as the looks! I couldn’t be happier with the bow, and also the customer service. Hopefully I’ll get my first traditional archery kill this season. I’ll be sure to send you a picture if you like. -Paul"
"Nathan, the bow is beautiful. You were definitely right about those limbs, they look amazing. Just looking at it was enough to satisfy me, but I got it knocked this morning and went out and slung three arrows at my 15 yard target. All three in the 2 inch center circle! I haven't even started tuning on it yet and it's amazingly accurate. I had it down to the bow shop I frequent this morning and it got handed around and around. It's a real beauty. Thanks for getting it just right. I can't wait to do business with u again.
-Bandy"
"I received my bow today and I have to say I love it! Now I must say I'm new to traditional archery but I'm definately not new to archery. I have 3 compound bows and
I practice year round but I'm not happy with the direction compounds are headed so I decided to convert back to traditional. This is going to take some getting used to but I can honestly say its more rewarding. The curly maple is outstanding! I'm so glad we decided to leave it natural! NO SHOCK! VERY QUIET! I love my Elite Classic! Now lets see here...... The Hunter or The Royal? Thanks again Nathanael!
-Jim"
"After buying a Hunter, I had thought I found the perfect bow for me. I honestly didn't think the Royal could possibly be that much better for the added cost but I had to try one. Simply opening the box and holding the bow in my hands was enough to convince me that I was absolutely wrong and that this bow was a different animal altogether! Shooting it sealed the deal. While I love my Hunter model, it is becoming increasingly harder to hang the Royal back on the rack. It is truly a bow among bows! The workmanship and quality are second to none and the price is unbeatable. I am certain that it will be my go-to bow for years to come. I can't thank you enough for such an incredible shooter!"
-Nick
"Nathan,
I just received my second long bow from you guys at BamaBows. The first bow I purchased was an Elite model that was dead on it seemed no matter how I shot it. I have never been so impressed! The look and feel of the bow was perfect and then the way it shot blew me away!
HEY NATHANAEL,
WOW, What can I say? It shoots so sweet. I love the draw weight. It is so nice to draw. It
shoots dead straight, right where you point, and I haven't even found the sweet spot yet. Thanks again, you are a fine human being, absolutely went over
and above. I'm saving for an Elite."
WE'LL TALK SOON,
GEORGE
"Hi Nathan, I got the bow today and it looks great and shoots even better. I really appreciate
your extra fast service. You were right, Bamboo is super smooth shooting and is beautiful under
clear glass. I've had several longbows and recurves but haven't found any that shoot as good as
your bows. They shoot where you look.! Once again thanks for your great service and I will keep
in touch."
Tony.
"I got my bow today and she is a beauty! Talk about natural camo, that bow will be invisible in the woods. I've got her strung and letting the string stretch before I put a nocking point on. I haven't shot it yet but I can tell by the smooth draw to my anchor point she's gonna shoot like a dream and I'm gonna love it. It's a pleasure doing business with you!"
Thank you
Dave
Thanks again,
Dave
"Well,Well,Well,
Nathan, my first response was a four letter word, because the bow (Elite
model with the Cocobola riser and Bamboo limbs) was a work of art. My
second thought was, get my arrows made, I did. My third thought,as I
nocked my Easton aluminum arrow was, heh, heh, heh!. I just new it was going
to be sweeeeeeeet. At fifteen yards, I shot a group about the size of a
paper plate. (NOT BAD RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX}. I started tuning my bow two
twist of the string at the time, eventually tuning out at six and three
quarter inch. This brought my grouping down to a four inch group at
fifteen yards. Need I say more. Nathan, your work is outstanding and you
are my new Bowyer. Thanks for everything, I will spread the word about
your craftmanship and your bows."
John
"I just want to thank you again for making me such a Great Bow. One would be hard pressed to find a Longbow that looks as good and shoots as sweet as the custom built Elite Classic now in my possession. Your attention to detail and talents as a craftsman are obvious in every inch of this 66 inch Masterpiece. A tack driving thing Of beauty. Proud to be a BAMA-BOWMAN. Let me know if you ever come out with any company hats or t shirts. I would be glad to spread the word."
Many Thanks -- Joe R.
"Hi Nathaniel, thanks for the fast service.
The bow is beautiful. I have been shooting most of my life and have never held a bow this well
made. It is flawless and shoots as well as it looks. You guys do great work that goes beyond
craft and well into art. Thank you again. I would, without reservation, recommend your product
to anyone."
Sincerely,
Peter
"Received my 2 piece Bamabow today, wow what a nice bow! How can you make these at such a low price
(not complaining)? I appreciate everything you've done for me and I'm sorry
for the trouble it caused. As soon as I can figure out how to post on leatherwall i will do so,
we all need to get the word out about your craftsmanship and value.
Thanks again,
your friend in Michigan, Ron.
Received my bow yesterday shot today, took about 12 arrows to get all dialed in and started to
hit the bullseye. I'm a big fan and will shout at the world about your bows.
with that said how about some t-shirts and related stuff so your fans can show off
how proud we are about you bows. Thanks
Ron"
"Nathan - shot my bow today - IT'S AWESOME! No handshock, whisper quiet...can't compliment you enough on your craftsmanship. Though I'm new at traditional shooting, I started at 10yds shooting at a 3-D Turkey target - within 6 shots I actually hit the head (which is what I was aiming at)! Missed a few shots by a couple of inches but most shots were within 3-4" of aim. Better then I expected for the first time with a long bow. I can't wait to keep practicing as the weather warms up - I am definately hooked on Traditional shooting. Thanks again."

"The Hunter model was everything I could ask for: an American made longbow with custom options and a lifetime guarantee. An unbelievable package! After watching their demonstration video and emailing Nate, I was convinced.
Three days later I had my very own Bama Hunter – a 65” Cocobola model with a walnut core and padauk accents. It was light, beautiful, and felt perfect in my hands. Despite all of my reasoning, I had to shoot it.(...)
Since I first held my Hunter it felt like an extension of my arm. It made me feel like a better archer and I truly believe it was that confidence that gave me the edge I needed to make that shot. I had no time to think when I shot those does – mere seconds to pick my targets and make those shots. It was instantaneous and seemed effortless. I didn't think a bow existed that would fit me so well or shoot so smoothly.
The Bama Hunter is truly a gift to the traditional bowhunting community. Providing a longbow with the quality of the Hunter at the price offered is nothing less than remarkable. My longbow helped to make my first harvest special and I’ll never forget it. I am confident that whenever I draw on live game a Bama will be launching the arrow."

"When I started shooting Traditional, I never thought that I would want to shoot a Longbow, but then my son Nick bought a Hunter model from the Bama bow company he was so impressed with the customer service and the quality of the bow he bought that I knew had to have one of my own! I also ordered a Hunter model with a Curly Maple riser! I received my bow on New Year's Eve and we set it up and shot it in my basement! I had never shot a longbow before and I got a say this bow shoots like a dream! Bow is very light and handshock is minimal, most of all I was very impressed with the workmanship and the quality of my Longbow. Why buy an import when you can own a fine custom Longbow from an American company for the same amount of money! I am already saving my money to purchase another Bama Longbow in the future!"

"Hello Nathanael,
Got it today. When I got home from the post office, I felt like a kid at Christmas time. How many
ways can you say WOW?!! What a beautiful piece of work! I couldn't have custom ordered a better
looking bow. It's perfect. I love the color of the wood and the string color matches perfectly.
Great job! Shoots great, it just feels natural. I can tell that you love your work and take pride
in what you do. That pride is built right into your bows. Thank you for such a beautiful bow.
Proud owner of a BamaBow,
Kevin
Hello Nathanael,
Just wanted to let you know that I do have a slight problem with my bow...I can't stop shooting
it!!! I've had it about a week now and shot about 500 arrows out of it already. As kid I grew up
shooting a recurve, then when compounds came out I felt left out cause I was the only one hunting
with a recurve. So I got into compound shooting and won state and regional championships. But
lately it seems that there is so much high tech crap going into these bows that they are no
longer bows but rather just arrow launchers.
So about 2 years ago I went retro and picked up a longbow off ebay. My search for a quality
affordable longbow is what lead me to Bamabows. It seems that traditional archery is now the new
and growing thing. (Everything old is new again) With the quality and pricing of your bows, you
are in the right place at the right time. Keep up the good work. You have nowhere to go but up!
The Elite Classic is such a good looking bow that I almost hate to take it into the woods. So I
guess you know what that means,,, I may be ordering a Hunter Model in the future.
Very pleased,
Kevin"
